Border Collies are highly intelligent. Therefore, training plays an essential role in their upbringing. Their wits and energy make them capable of learning various tricks. Border Collies are prone to such eye-diseases as Focal Acquired Retinopathy, Collie Eye Anomaly, and hip-disease known as Hip Dysplasia. Therefore, it is necessary to check if the puppies have had the eyes and hips tested.
Make sure the breeder has started working on socializing the puppies and ask him to give you some advice on this process, as you will need to continue it at your home. Don't hurry to buy the first puppy that appeals to you. Ask the breeder about its personality and make a conclusion together. Everything considered, checked and clarified; you will be a happy owner of a Border Collie pup. Border Collies are wonderful dogs that will bring you joy of the dog ownership.
